Calling all those interested in climate change! SFU350 will be hosting a FREE live video stream of the “A dialogue: Climate change, divestment and society” event being held at the University of Victoria.

Five panelists will be discussing the complexities of climate change regarding:

Sustainable investment
Today’s energy sector
First Nations

Panelists include:

Malkolm Boothroyd: A volunteer organizer with Divest UVic and Geography and Environmental Studies undergraduate
Steve Douglas: Vice President, Investor Relations for Suncor Energy Inc.
Stephen Hume: A columnist at the Vancouver Sun
Cary Krosinsky: Co-Founder of Carbon Tracker Initiative and is an educator, author and advisor on issues regarding business and sustainability.
Crystal Lameman: Member of the Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Treaty No. 6, Alberta and the Climate and Energy Campaigner for Sierra Club Canada.
